What we collect
When you pledge we store your email address, the spot you claimed, the name shown on the magnet, the amount pledged, and the reference of your Stripe checkout. If you upload a sticker image, that image is stored with the pledge. Your access is held on our server against that email and a private access code, so your kit follows you to any device; your browser only keeps a convenience copy of the email and access code so you do not have to retype them.
Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe. Card details are entered on Stripe's own checkout page and are never sent to or stored by FridgeRank. Stripe processes that data as its own controller under its privacy policy.
Why we need it
The email is the only way to send a receipt, restore your kit on another device, handle a refund, and prove which pledge is yours. The magnet name and amount are shown publicly on the fridge door — that is the point of the leaderboard. Your email is never shown publicly.
How long we keep it
Pledge records are kept while the leaderboard runs and for as long as tax and payment rules require, then deleted. Visit counts are aggregate only and contain no personal data.
Sharing and the services we use
We do not sell your data. It is shared only with the services that run this site: Stripe (payments), Supabase (database and storage of pledge records), Lovable (the platform that builds, hosts, and measures basic traffic for the site), Cloudflare (delivery and protection of the pages you load), and Google Fonts (the typefaces the pages use, which means your browser requests those files from Google).
Where your data is processed
These providers operate globally, so your information may be processed in the United States and other countries outside your own. Transfers rely on the providers' standard contractual safeguards. You can ask us for details at any time.
Age
FridgeRank is not for children. You must be at least 16 years old to pledge or use the kit. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16; if we learn we have, we delete it.
Your choices
Email sal@fridgerank.online to get a copy of your data, correct it, or ask for deletion. Deleting a pledge record removes your access to the digital kit. The public magnet name can be replaced with an initial on request.
Cookies and tracking
We use no advertising cookies and we do not profile you for ads. The site does load a lightweight traffic script from our hosting platform (Lovable) that counts page views and basic technical details such as country, referrer, and device type; it is not used for advertising. Besides that, only local storage on your own device (your email, access code, and last draft) and the cookies Stripe needs during checkout.
